Shawnee and Valley Christian Churches Worshiping Together in April

 April 29 – At Shawnee CC; Rev. Procter Riggins, preaching.

The congregation hosting worship each Sunday will be responsible for leading the worship service and teaching the Sunday School classes.

Summer vacation is just around the corner and the Christian Church in Kentucky has its camp schedule available for you now. Registration is now going on. Camps are available for all ages. Visit the Christian Church in Kentucky web site at www.ccink.net.

A new group for young adults will begin meeting in April.  Jason Rice has agreed to facilitate this time of study, discussion and fellowship together.  Please watch for further announcements

Lucille’s Trips

Each month there is an outing to visit an interesting place in the area. On the bulletin board at Shawnee is a complete list of those scheduled for the rest of the year.  This is an opportunity for Shawnee and Valley folks to join together in fellowship and fun as we journey together in faith.  Please tell or call her, Lucille Baker, (361-2808) with other ideas.             Shawnee is a community of faith composed of people of diverse ages and backgrounds, perspectives and faith experiences.  We accept and affirm one another’s differences, knowing that those variations serve only to make the great tapestry of God’s creation more beautiful.  What we do have in common is the embracing love of God and the forgiveness and mercy shown through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
